This notice explains how Era-Sure handles personal information sent through a quotation enquiry.

What we collect and why

We collect the following information when you submit a quotation enquiry.

Name
To identify the person making the enquiry.
Company
To understand which business or project team is enquiring.
Email address
To send your quotation and correspond about your enquiry. A quotation is a document, so without an email address it can only be discussed by phone.
Phone or WhatsApp number
To contact you about your enquiry and quotation.
I am enquiring as
To understand the type of customer or organisation making the enquiry.
Products or part numbers
To understand what products or part numbers you need quoted.
Bill of quantities or product list
To review the quantities and products needed for the quotation. An attachment may contain personal information you choose to include.Accepted file types: .pdf,.csv,.xls,.xlsx,.doc,.docx

The following information is mandatory for a quotation enquiry:

  • Name
  • Company
  • Email address
  • Phone or WhatsApp number
  • I am enquiring as
  • Products or part numbers

The following information is optional: Bill of quantities or product list.

If you do not provide the mandatory information, Era-Sure cannot prepare a quotation.

What is collected automatically

Automatically collected technical information
To operate and protect the form service. The operator is Netlify Forms.

Why we may lawfully process it

We process the information you provide to respond to your enquiry and take steps towards preparing a quotation at your request. We limit the information requested to what is needed for that purpose.

Who else processes it

Service providers help us receive, store and deliver quotation enquiries and notification emails.

  • Netlify

    Form provider and submission processor.

    Destination: United States, among other countries.

  • GoDaddy

    Mailbox provider for form notification emails.

Your rights under POPIA

Subject to the limits and requirements of POPIA, you may ask us to confirm whether we hold personal information about you, request access to it, and ask us to correct or delete information that is inaccurate or no longer lawfully retained. You may also object to processing where POPIA provides that right.
